Glue wont come off...
I took the civic and dx sign off of my car the other day and i tried to get the glue off today and im having a hard time doing it. My friend said use wax and it easily comes off, and i tried that with my Blue Coral wax and it didnt help. You guys got any suggestions?

I used a citrus based thinger called "goo gone" but try not to use anything to abrasive. it won't remove paint but if you get it on your bumper it takes off paint.

i have also heard WD-40 and Goo Gone suggested many a time. ppl have expressed concerns of wether or not WD-40 will strip paint so i would test it on a spot which isn't noticeable. also heat that **** up w/ a blowdryer, the heat will get it moveable.

sounds wierd but zippo lighter fluid works great. Just make sure that after you do it that you wipe it off good and put some wax on it. PS: Dont light it on fire!!

stop by a hospital and drop by their emergency room. ask for their adhesive removers for their patients, they should toss you a pack or two. It looks like an alcohol prep pad, its safe for use on patients skin and removes bandage adhesive. I used this on the stock stickers on my civic and they hardened/removed the adhesive and allowed me to just rub it right off. If its safe for skin i would assume it wouldnt hurt anything else, bumper included.

When I was taking my stock del sol and civic stickers off, it left a sticky film aswell. So, I used a citrus biosolvent. I got it at my work (bikeshop) and it works so good, plus it doesnt hurt the paint. Its called Finish Line Concentrated Citrus. Its the best stuff I ever used, blows everything away. Any bike shop should have it.

Re: Glue wont come off... (Briman2021)
so far i tried rubbing alcohol and some "Gunk" engine degreaser and cleaner. None of them worked and there are lines on the paint from the towel that i was using. Im gonna try to do it with a heat gun today and maybe if i find some of that hospital stuff or some goo gone. ill let you guys know what happens. Thanks!
