give me a clear reason why a P72 bracket cant be used for A/C on b18C/EG swap?

is it a clearance issue? the pump wont fit? WHY??? BTW i have both the GSR A/C pump AND the D16Z pump.

can i NOT use my GSR pump or something?

this is really starting to bug me.

Almost positive the reason for the p54 bracket is for civic owners that wish to retain their Civic AC pump, its a different bolt setup. Its possible that your gsr pump will bolt right up to the p72 one, try it and see.

The P72 bracket will work with the gsr pump you may need the gsr lines as well not sure never tried it. The P72 bracket dont work with the d series ac pump because the pump dont bolt up 2 of the holes line up I've heard of some people running it that way not sure if their having any problems with it though. I got the del sol mount and the D series pump bolts directly to it.

Ok the 4 holes where the bolts go through the compressor and onto the bracket are ina diff pattern with the d series and b series brackets....
You could put the gsr compressor on, bu the lines are different for the d and b series compressors some people have thought of trying to cut and wled them back but i havent seen it done yet and personally wouldnt try it, i would just buy the p54 bracket.

like they mentioned above. you cant use the p72 with the civic compressor because only 2 bolts line up. in order to use the civic compressor, you would need the p54 sol vtec one. if you decide to go with the p72 and gsr compressor, you would need the a/c lines from the gsr and have to get it cut and welded back by the high low nipples.

i have a b18b in my EK, I am using the b18b a/c bracket with a b-series compressor. I only needed one line from a 99-00 SI, the fat one coming off condensor.
