gf's car almost gets stolen...have a few questions..
ok, so last night i guess my girlfriends car got broken into, they messed up the passenger mirror ( pulled it out so the glass doesnt line up with the window anymore). Anyway, they continued from there and broke the steering column (if i had a digicam I would have taken pics).
Well, you know how the ignition is positioned in the middle of the steering column on the right side...its not longer in the middle. It aimed more towards your leg when your sitting in the drivers seat. For some reason they could not get the car started, my question is..how much do you think its going to cost to repair the window and the steering column?
ps. the stupid theif forgot his wallet with his drivers license in it, we showed the police and they said "its too much of a coincidence, but they'll check into it."

damn, that sucks, but good thing they didnt get the whole car.
take a pic of the steering column, also what type of car.
if its only the ignition that is busted, depending on the car (hopefully a civic or integra) i have a few ignitions at work, most of them dont have keys, but i can get one from the dealership. lemme know and i will look into it

in the process, the DL has a po box number...so I'm not sure about the exact address, but I do know the area in which he stays in.

oh yea, its a '98 civic hx.

No offense to any law enforcement here but i really hate friggin cops. in my every experience with them they have been little to no help. there is a stranger's wallet in your car, after it was broken into, WTF you think happened? some guy walked by and his wallet jumped outta his pants and into a crime scene?

the cops must think that whoever *** d up ur gf s car left the wallet trying to set someone else up..if that s the case ..then its really *** d up
