Default Getting a CRV

My wife's pregnant! (twins) I got to sell My EJ8 now.

I'm thinking on buying a BIGGER car. A CRV

Will it be possible to put the VTEC Head & a B16 tranny on the CRV?

Has any one done this?

Oh & if it is possible Ill be Boosting that sh*t!

why not just get a 4 door integ or accord. the crv isnt that much bigger inside.

Head yes...
Tranny no...

I'm not sure exactly how much power the 4WD system will hold up to. Jackson Racing makes a supercharger for it, but it's not that much of a boost.

one more thing, once i do this whats the redline gonna be?
or should i keep it below 6gs?

or would the h22 fit?

If you build the block and valve train, and I mean BUILD it, it would probably be able take 9k, but unless you have some big cams, then it would be pointless to take it up that high. That would be for the vtec head. If you boost it you don't need to rev high. The h22 wouldn't fit in there. Not sure if they make a mount kit for it though.

If you get a 5-spd CRV you can do whatever you want. They do make them in 5-spd, they are rare though. I remember reading on here that someone worked as a service tech, and he said like 1 in 50 CRVs he saw were stick.
