I'd use GC's, then save up for some yellows or agx's. Or save up for some full coilovers like Omnipower or Teins.

This has always been a debate about the 2 companies. I have SKUNK2 and I love them but I am sure I would be happy with the GC's also....

for stock shocks? order a GC kit with custom spring rates like 250F/175R. stiffens the ride up just a tad and you can adjust ride height, which is what you seem to want. im not aware that you could custom order spring rates if you buy skunk2/omni kits, their default springs are way too stiff for stock shocks (and daily driving, unless you want to prove youre "hardcore", whatever that means.)

Re: GC vs SKUNK2 COILOVERS? (slammed_93_hatch)
I've experienced both coil-overs. The GC's weren't as stiff as the Skunk2's and the Skunk2's already weren't as stiff. Both were for integ's. I ended up going back to my Neuspeed racing springs (Integ' spring rates as well). If you want some cheap coil-overs try out them Omni-power's. If you got the money, Tein is great. Although, I hear the rear spring rates on the Omni's are higher than the Tein Flex's.

I had one for my EG coupe. GC Stock spring rates were 325F/250R.
