How do i get it off on a 94 dx?

do you mean that plastic piece? or the whole cluster from the dash? if its just that plastic piece, just get a flathead and pry it apart, becareful not to break the tabs though, its just held on by glue.

no i didnt have to, just pry it apart easily, theres not that much glue holding it, just a small amount. just start from one end to the other...
