Default gas question

another gas question. ok, i put my after market headers and full cat back with no cat on my car, i also have a short ram intake. is that supposed to make me use more gas on my 94 dx??? becuase when it was just the intake, and everything els was stock, i still got good *** gas milage like when i first bought the car.

I dont beleive it woul cause more gas use as the O2 sensor is on the motor side of the cat the only thing your doing is polluting.

no you would use more gas...more air = more gas and with having a full exhaust and intake you're increasing the air flow causing the motor to up the fuel to match the air....(air:fuel ratio)

I would bet that with all your new exhaust goodies you're mashing that gas pedal a lot harder trying to listen to that engine rev.

yea you dirty hog, your polluting, lol its a 4 cyl, not a Catless V8, your not pumping that many pollutants into the air. Dont try and go thru inspection that way tho, lol.

naw its just that, its different now. when i drove from saint paul, Minnesota to Des Moines Iowa it only took me half a tank, maybe a little more. but now its the entire tank.
