Default Gas milage on lsvtec?

Im thinking of getting rid of my b16 block and swapping it out for an ls block. I get about 30-33 miles per gallon on my stock b16 block. I just want a little more torque out of my 00 civic si. I was also considering USDM type r pistons.

How much gas per tank and per gallon do you get from an LSVTEC?

Thanks guys.

Nothing significantly different if you drive normal. Gas mileage is largely defined by driving habits, beleive it or not. Driving aggressive (high revs, vtec, fast driving in general, ect) will get you bad gas mileage.
Allot of ppl are quick to blame ECU, , O2 sensor's, MAP sensors, ect; Which all in fact do play a role, dont get me wrong on that. Although, a fair amount of mileage has to do with the habits of your right foot.

I definitely agree with you here, but Im getting about 185 miles to a tank in my 99 Si (completely stock). I have a heavy right foot SOMETIMES, but not all the time. I definitely would relate this to a bad o2 sensor, air filter, spark plugs, etc. Correct?

Correct, a mixture of having a worn/clogged air filter, worn O2 sensor, clogged CAT, bad plugs, ect, ; can all add up to making gas mileage suffer, even if you drive normal.
