it comes in bottles the size of fuel additives. the idea is you put four or so bottles in for like a quarter tank of gas. im worried if this is safe or not. if not, new engine time i guess (still packin stock 1.5L)

That trick works on old carbureted vehicles, and generally has no effect on fuel injected cars such as ours. If you have problems passing, then make sure your catalytic converter is still working, and if it is, then drive around for about a half hour before the test and try to get them to sniff it as soon as you get there so it doesn't cool off. During the warm up drive don't go full throttle or redline it because gas can collect in the cat, giving you a high hydrocarbon reading.

yea, tried it, numbers came out worse than before doesnt work so dont try it. this was my fifth or sixth fail. ive lost count. im just gonna take my car to the local dealership and say i need to spend 450 so i can get my waiver and not a dime more (im MD, and you can spend at least 450 to apply for a waiver for emmissions for two years.)... im so tired of this bs..

emmissions =

If you failed after doing that then I'd bet its the catalytic converter. You can get a high flow cat from carsound catalytic converter for not too much. What were your numbers, usually that can pinpoint the problem. I would try to fix the problem if I were you, pollution sucks.

yea i still got the stock VX engine (92 hp.... ) and so i plan to do as little as i can possibly do to it until i get either a b18b1 or b18c1 next summer (after saving up). so. i wont be polluting then seriously though. that my car should even go through emmissions is ridiculous. when a 7.9 liter dodge ram running well puts out probably 20 times my emmissions in a day. yea, bittersweet day. failed emmissions but got the rims im buying (ls mesh) finally lined up for sure. thats good. still waiting to get paid 1500 owed from august, double *sigh* tis the story of my life. keep on rolling guys. thanks, jeremy
