full swap or just engine?
i want to get a b18b ls motor for my 99 ex but should i try and find the full swap or get the motor and piece together the rest. i heard that the ls integra transmission is the worst out of all the bseries and which way would be cheaper. any suggestions help thanks.

When you piece everything together, its about the price of a full swap. If you can buy a longblock off of a friend, and then get the parts from a junkyard it might end up being cheaper, but its a lot of work.

It all depends on how much money you have to spend up front. You'll probably end up getting a better deal on a full swap because you're buying all the parts at once, sort of like getting a buying in bulk discount.

Like bauley said, it all depends on how much work you are willing to do. And yes the ls tranny has the longest gear ratios. My ls motor was originally a auto and I converted it over to a manual tranny. So, i got a ls motor, gsr tranny, exedy clutch, and it ended up being cheaper than buying a motor off of hmotorsonline. I'd say it all depends on if you got the patience and time to piece it together then thats what i would do. just my opinion
