Default full exhaust help

ok, ill start you with my setup. 92 hatch, JDM GSR(all stock), short ram intake and half of an exhaust system. The exhaust starts with the stock GSR header running through the stock civic cat, then the pipe size changes to 2.25" from whatever the stock civic piping is and goes to a ES Oval 2.25".

couple questions:

will a 2.5" header with 2.5-2.25 kteller cat work for me, or will that give me the sputtering i currently have(happens during deceleration above 3000 RPMs)

did i make a bad choice choosing the 2.25" exhaust( i was a total noob when getting it, and thought about the back-pressure low end power etc. etc.)

please share ANY input you have about this. i will be finishing my header/exhaust soon and i dont want to make a wrong decision(or another one if thats the case)

a buddy of mine told me to put a glass pack in place of the cat...so maybe a 2.5" header connected to a 2.5" glass pack then a reducer down to 2.25 to complete my exhaust?

or would it be better to just go 2.25 all the way back

just run a 2.25" testpipe, resonator, glasspack, whatever you want to put in place of the cat. what header are you going to run????

i'm on a tigtht budget so i was thinking the DC 4-1 JDM header, or the JDM type R header

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by civictildeath &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">me personally i would just get cat back 2.25" pipes and see how that sounds. it will open up a couple hp and torque.</TD></TR></TABLE>

well i do have 2.25" piping after the cat
