FUEL PUMP replacement del slow
FUEL PUMP replacement del slow
PLEASE HELP ME MY DD needs honda-techs help!!
1. where is the fuel pump?
*how hard/easy is it to install in a shop with lifts and pretty good tools "for someone moderately mechanicly inclined"?
2. do failed attempts to start a d15b7 with no gas break the fuel pump?
3. does cranking the car with no gas in it cause air bubbles to form in the injection lines?
4. will just letting it sit for a day or two resolve the issue?

1) In the fuel tank.
The hardest part to get to it, is removing the rear interior panels. After that, its straight forward, with removing the the cover and pulling the pump and connectors.
2) Test the pump - turn the car to "on" but dont start. You should be able to hear the pump turning on.
Failed start may mean bad pump, bad injectors, dirty parts, holes in lines, bad plugs or other ignition parts.....so it could be a lot of things, other than pump
3) Maybe a little?
4) With cars, the only thing that happens by itself, is rusting...
