Default fuel pump not priming

My fuel pump isn't priming, although it was priming about a week ago.

I just swapped a b20 into a 99 civic from a 96 civic.

The only changes i made from the last time it primed until now were remove my msd digital6, bleed my clutch, remove, test and re-install starter.

I checked all fuses and none were blown. The car cranks like a champion, but since fuel pump isn't priming it won't turn over.

Dumb question: it had never occurred to me before, but would a fuse pump not prime if theres NO gas in the tank? (doesn't apply to my situation, I have a little gas in there)

I searched and didn't really find anything relevant. TIA

THe pump will prime with nothing in the tank, have you checked your main relay?
*edit*, there a way to see if its the main relay, do you have a haynes manual? You take the realy out and jump 2 pins in the harness it connects too.

the relay is located behind the glove compartment its a gray box it should have 7 wires running to it you also have to take the panel off cause there is a 10 mm bolt holding it to the dash
