Default fuel filter...where is it and how do i replace it?

i have a 99 civic ex and i have been noticing a lag in my throttle response and the overall performance of the car i think that it is my fuel filter but after searching i was unable to find much information about it; so my question is where is the filter located and how do i replace it?

it's in your engine bay. its right to the right of the battery and has a fuel line going to your motor.

black cylinder on the bulkhead with a hose coming from the top, try putting some fuel line cleaner through first could be a blocked or dirty injector

absolutely no risk in using a fuel injector cleaner. just get any legitimate brand; eg STP, DuPont, NOS, Lucas...
