Default Fuel filter replacement

i will replace my fuel filter soon.anything i need to be aware of?
and the car is a eg hatch but i have a b16a engine swap.do i buy eg hatch fuel filter or gsr fuel filter becasue fuel filter is located on the firewall right?or is there a second fuel filter under body?

Just get one to match your vehicle. Make sure it comes with all new washers.

Other than that, it's a pretty straightforward procedure, just make sure you have rags around to catch the fuel that spills out.

No there isn't an underbody fuel filter just the one attached to the firewall. Just get the part for your original car, unless you wanted to upgrade to an aftermarket one like AEM with a replaceable element inside it. Technically there is also a filter bag on the inlet of your fuel pump but you gotta take the back seats out and get the pump out of the tank to service that thing.

Also make sure you open the gas cap to release fuel pressure in the lines, and crack the fuel line loose from the filter before unbolting it from the firewall.

there is a fuel filter on the firewall and there is the fuel pump located inside your car.

be ready for it being tight man....tried everything on mine to get it loose...i finally just gave up and said f*ck it

pain in the butt to replaced fuel filter but i finally did it.with right tools and a lot of patient.

what size is the nut that connects to the fuel line?

the bottom nut that connnects to the fuel filter....
