Default Fu**ed up axles?

Well. I noticed a while ago that when I got on the gas, the car would do some sort of shake. It wasnt bad at first like it was barely noticeable. As time went on, the shaking got worse and worse. It wasnt just when I got on the gas anymore it was all the time that I was in gear. It wouldnt do it when I was in neutral. I had a shop look at them and they replaced the axles with Orielly's brand ones and this problem came back. Now on left turns, there is a clicking noise coming from the front so that means one needs to be replaced... but...

-The shaking that started, could that be caused from a messed up axle not rotating right?

sounds like its your input shaft bearing... it could also be failing ball joints.

well for sure the axles are pretty much fucked. They click on all my turns now so I thought it was from cheap axles from oreilly's. A local shop owner had the same problem a while back. I will prolly replace the ball joins soon anyways because they also arent lookin so good.

But basically, I just need to know how to replace that damn seal.

sweet. I didnt know if I needed some damn wrench or something I dont have. Anyways.

So far -

Ball joints and axles is what it has came too.

Edit - Also, when deacellerating in gear, the driver side wheel kinda sounds like a hollow flopping noise. Under acceleration, it just junds sounds like its rotating off axis severly.

you are on the right track with diagnosing this as an axle issue. i have had numerous axles do this, including high dollar DSS ones. the shaking on acceleration you are referring to is the inner joint, whereas the clicking would be the outer. suffice to say, get some quality axles, (personally i prefer Raxles) and you should be good to go.

I'm doing it too. Mainly, on 2nd gear. Every other gear either doesn't do it or I can't feel it. But, definitely on 2nd gear. Right when I let off the clutch, the whole front end vibrates (not hard) and it feels as if it's coming from that general area. Yes, both my CV joints/axles are shot.

in my experience, axles (inner cv's) vibrate under wfo throttle in all gears when they are done.

Thanks for the help. It turned out to be the axles and it took no time to fix with air tools.

If your car is low, you will go through axles prematurely. I have to change mine about every 6 months. =\

Stupid Autozone cheapo rebuiilds.

Indeed. This vibration came AFTER I installed my Omnis.

My car just started to shake too. I thought i had a messed up rim but i already changed rims and still it shakes. My tires arent that bad but I'm planning to get new tires and have them balanced and my car aligned. I change my drop with my coilovers with an average of 5 times a month. This might have caused my shaking now.
