Default Front rotor size 96-00...

Okay, I know the 96-00 EX models have 10.3" front rotors. This is my dillema... My 1997 Acura 1.6EL should have the same 10.3" front rotors/calipers/knuckle as the 96-00 Civic EX because it's essentially the same car. I bought a steering knuckle from the pick and pull from a 1997 Civic EX, and the caliper mounting holes didn't line up. Are my EL's front rotors larger than the EX's 10.3? No ABS by the way...

if they don't line up, they could be the smaller dx brakes...which I would find surprising and stupid.

What is the distance between the holes?

in canada, i think you'll need EX-R front brakes.

USDM -> CDM
LX -> EX
EX Sedan -> EX-R Sedan
EX Coupe -> Si
Si -> SiR

** edit: oops. not sure if the top-of-the-line EK sedan was the EX, EXR, OR Si....

There aren't any EX-R civics... there are EX-R Accords, but not civics. Maybe there are different trim levels of the EX or something where they came with 9.5" and 10.3" brakes... I'm not sure.

This thread isn't about changing the brakes, it's about the steering knuckle and rotor sizes between different models. Besides which, I wouldn't buy "power slots" anyways, I'm replacing the factory rotors with Brembo blanks in the spring. Brembo blanks > power slots IMO.
