Front height adjustement problem on my 1995 Civic si coupe... Honda guru take a look please :(
Ok my car is a 1995 Civic Si coupe ( canadian ). It came with 10.25 inch rotor from the factory like on an Integra and when I did my front brake upgrade for a Type R caliper + 11 inch Prelude SRV rotor the calipers were bolt on on my knuckles... so I assume that all my front is like an Integra.
So I installed my Omni street full coilover last night and today I dropped the car on the floor the rear was ok...
When I came to the front I had to drop the car 1.25 inch to get the desired height . So I lifted the front of the car, began to turn the entire shock body like in the Omni instruction and I cant lower it down more than 1/2 inch. I cant go lower cuz I hit the bottom of the adlustement sleeve ( the top 19mm bolt is flush to the shaft like Omni says in their instruction and my spring is just tight between the 2 kinds of *plate* )...
Is it possible that my front lower control arm ( the kind of wishbone ) is from an Integra and it would be longer than a regular EG wisbone ? This is my only solution that would explain this problem : get a shorter wishbone...
I hope than im right and I only need an regular EG wishbone ( who would be shorter than the one who is on my car now )
Thank for the help...
