Front Brake Rotor Rubbing Something? (solved)
Hello, H-T!
I have a 100% stock 1998 Civic DX Hatch and just had new bearings pressed in both spindles in the front from a local, reputable machine shop.
The driver side rotor seems to be scraping on something as it can be heard while I drive. It's not constant though, it's off and on depending on how far around the rotor has spun.
It kinda sounds like the rotor has a "high-side" and a "low-side" but they haven't been warped or used since they were last taken off.
Any ideas? Is it possible for the rotor to not sit flush? Maybe the little clips that hold the brake pads into the caliper bracket?
