Last night, I was awoken around 3 am, by the sound of a loud deisil engine...instinctivly I thinking it was my dads truck which is right in our driveway and someone was trying to jack it. But to my utter suprise, its a tow truck backing up and manuavering trying 2 get in a position to tow my car. Both of my cars are on the street, with the van in front of it. I believe that they wanted to drag the van out of the way to get to my car... They were like right about to get hooked up 2 my van... They already had one car on the flatbed, but the kind they had could drag a car also....

I ran out in my boxers with a bad and start running at the truck screaming and it took off...when they went around the corner i thought the car on top of the flatbed was going to roll off it. THEIVES SHOULD ******* DIE. Im glad i didnt bring my dads S&W Magnum thats loaded out with me...i whould have killed them. I was so ****** mad. I think I should have got in my car and followed them, but i was to mad to think. Heres a diagram of what happened...


If it was you and your reading it....im going to ******* find you and and beat the **** out of you...your ******* dead, and im letting everone around here to watch out. Tow truck drivers watch your ******* back in south jersey....

Damn that's messed up! So it was thieves and not the repo man? Did you report it? I would have shot them and said he was going for something that appeared to be a gun....

I own my car, and the van is never late on payments...but think about this, why would they take off if they saw me come out. If they were the repo men they would have said who there were. I didnt give them a chance to get out of the truck. They just bolted.

Edit: Unless they are ***** *** repo men

Unless they were mistakenly trying to take the wrong car...but still...the truck started to jet as soon as i turned the light on, about 2 seconds before i got out the door.

i think they stole one of his cars he said that they already had one car on the tow truck by the way what kind car was on the tow truck and did u get his plate number the company or anything

call the bank and see if something got messed up with the check for the van, if not then that is really really ballsy of thevies.

Was there any kind of marking on the side of the truck. Most of the time repo men do not use flatbeds, but i guess they can use whatever they want

Yeah, sounds like a REPO man to me too. I don't know if I would stick arround when a guy in boxers comes running at me with a bat. REPO men don't need to mess around with that stuff. Definitely call the bank and make sure it wasn't the REPO men. If it wasn't, good save.

Where in south jersey are you? I think mine got stolen from work buy a flat bed. I had way to many security devices on it for them to drive it away.

No I just wanted to know the town since I have a shore house in Sea Isle City. I wanted to see if it was close to there so I know if I have to worry when I drive my car down there.

That REALLY sucks man...get lojack so in case they do tow it you can find it...and ALWAYS lock your steering wheel at night. Do you have a lot of **** done to your car?

I just hope to god that my security devices deters amateurs and that I don't have enough **** to make the real theives want to tow it

friend of mine's father was a repo guy. he said he basically stole the car legally, for there safety they would run and not explain themselves to you.
