Fried ECU?

Fried ECU?
I recently moved my 1993 Del Sol from the deserts of Colorado's Western Slope down to the Swamplands of Pensacola, FL. It has rained every day since I've been here (about 2 weeks), and rained nonstop for the past two days. I was on the way to take my punching bag and stand on my trailer (normally reserved for my dirtbike) over to my buddy's house when my baby dies on me directly under a green light.
So the CEL is on and won't read me any codes, and I've read that means my ECU is dead. I took it apart and took some pics. What do you guys think?
Is it fried?
Does is look like this is something that was fried due to all of the moisture?
I've searched some and found that in some cases they can be repaired. Am I past that? I'm going to go get a junkyard ECU in the morning but I still would like to fix this in case something else is happening and my car is frying all the ECUs.

Re: Fried ECU?
Well it's certainly fried. As for fixing it, I really don't think it's worth the effort but I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you it's not possible. I doubt there's any way of telling why it's fried other than what you said. Civics and del sols are known to leak a lot. Especially in the trunk and right under the glove box. For future problems, check for any clogging in drainage. And you could replace the seals on the doors, windshield, and top.

93 Del sols more often than not leak from the driver side, ive had my share of wet knees before. Either way, just buy a new ecu. Call around junk yards and see if you can find one at a cheap price or craigslist. Be sure you get the same ECU though.

What does the sticker on the side of the ecu say? You haven't said what motor you have. I am guessing a d15z6 vtec.
I had the passenger side leak on my civic and used 3m seam sealer I had to order online.
Hey man I am in Pensacola if you need a p28 dirt cheap. Just pm me.

Re: Fried ECU?
looks like the main power cap has shorted from water
(also happens in older ECU's the cap goes bad)
I would replace it and the power diode
both are not worth more than a couple of dollars to get
