nice misleading topic...
umm, you shouldn't have replaced your speed sensor. your needle isn't bouncing around because of that. it's bouncing around because your Alternator/Speed Sensor Fuse is blown. It's in the fuse box inside the car. Check it and I'm sure you'll find it's blown.
Now if you replace it and it blows immediately again that means there's a short in the circuit somewhere. If you replace it and it doesn't blow then your speedo should operate normally again for you.

Thanks dude but that wasn't it...the fuse is fine.....my speedo jumps around like it's bein' jarred by the vibrations or something.....
