Default Fog Light help

a quick/simple question. installed my fogs about 1 month ago, i dont know what kind they are but they were cheap ones...this morning i saw that only the left one is working..i checked all the wiring blah blah but still only the left on lights up. So do i need to replace the bulb on the right one???

Default FV-QR

They could be DEPO brand. They're common on eBay and PW:JDM and other sites. I know the 6th gen ones come with a long red wire.

I had problems in mine which I'm pretty sure were a grounding issue within the fog light assembly.

Swap the bulbs first.

if it was a grounding problem would they even light up at all? remember only the left one lights up

It was only the one on mine that would light up too. There was a loose connection in the one housing (or the wiring very close by). Kicking the light made it work... sometimes.

yeah i tried even taking apart all of the connections and still nothing... well what do you expect you get what you pay for.. i guess ill have to open up the lens and replace the bulb.

Default FV-QR

Replacing the bulb isn't too bad.

Remove the screw on the side of the housing, pull the housing out. Remove two of the backing screws and loosen the other two. Remove/Open the rear cover. Unplug the bulb. Replace is the reverse.

I had the same problem with mine. You'd bump the light then it would come on. I noticed that one of the wires were getting pulled out of the connector. I cut the conector out and used bullit connectors and it lights right up. Seems the way the connector clips on the light housing makes the one wire pull out.

thanks guys for all your help..hopefully i get this thing to work...nobody want to be driving with one fog light
