FML Swaped D16Z6.....
Okay got it my crx running and idling but now after it gets over 3500rpm and it just starts bogging and shitting out then youll let off it will be fine then again at 3500rpm.Now im running a stock p28.Ive tried replacings the iacv the tps new plugs double checked wires. The car is a little out of timing but nothing crazy thinking i may just need a base map for the ecu.But looking for some insight!

Re: FML Swaped D16Z6.....
tps. did you turn it as it was on the TB and the motor running?
did you use a voltage meter on it?
what harness are you using? depends what harness/motor it was for you could have a backwards TPS wiring. (the TB that was on top)...those like GSRs were backwards.
what CEL you get?

Re: FML Swaped D16Z6.....
i tried 3 tps lol two throttle bodies.
Im using a hacked crx dpfi harness unfortuntly but my buddy and i have cleaned it up and its temp till i can find a nice si harness.
Problem with running the codes is since the ecu is bone stock and im missing the sensors like o2 and such no vtec ill be reading codes for days. Also not sure how to get the codes i know for my old civic ex i had you just find a jumper and use a paper clip but since more of the wiring is still obd0 where do i find the jumper for the obd1 ecu?

wow. sounds like you still have work to do then.
and theres more to the TPS then jus replacing it.
you notice honda put rivets on them?...they are preset from the factory...
but no o2 sensors would make your car go into limp mode after a certain rpm for lean protection yes?

thats what i was assuming maybe plus a few other things not having plugs to go into....Wish people would stop and think before they car remove or even just cheap out in the first place.....It would have cost someone maybe 100 bucks to just get jumper harness and such....
