please help!
i have a ported y7/y8 mini-me. with portmatched y8 intake mani and b16 throttle body. Headers, exhaust, 95 SI transmission, with light weight flywheel and exedy organic clutch, and im running the p2p ecu. ive been driving this setup for like 8,000 miles.
(This just started happening) for about the first half hour after i turn my car on, it cant stay at a constant rpm. It knocks back and forth with about a 200 rpm range. (also happens when accelerating) As this happens, my dash lights and headlights flicker with the rpm change. After its been running for about half an hour, the engine is able to keep a constat rpm (even while accelerating), but as soon as i rev my engine above idle the lights start to flicker again. any thoughts as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated. thanks alot guys -
p.s - my speedometer has been on the fritz lately as well, - if that helps

Re: please help! (calbert0)
sounds like a voltage problem. Have you checked the grounds and tested your battery and alternator to make sure they are working?
