FITV & IACV; Where are they? Help needed.
Ok, I posted earlier this morning about my car bogging in first gear and idleing off. A friend told me it could be the FITV & the IACV. Where where they be on a 1994 Civic EX Coupe? If anyone could help me out with a picture or 2 please do so, it's much appricated.
On my FITV I need to: "there is a little cover you need to take off then inside it there should be a plastic screw you need to tighten in all the way".
IACV I need to "take it off and spray carb cleaner through it and let it dry"
Last, can I get a map sensor at a local auto parts store? Or do i have to custome order a new one? Thanks for the help once again. If you can post any pictures, an explaination will help. Thanks a million everyone.

Would this remedy this problem, or do these valves just go bad (need replacement) ? I know on of them is going bad on my 92 ex... the car stalls infrequently and has bad idle... a free solution would be great...lol

are you throwing any kinda code??? try taking off your IACV and cleaning the screen up,...and with the fast idle,..taking it off and tightening the screw type thing is what helped my friends idle problem

No everything is stock. Today I'm going to see if I can do all these things myself. And get a new map sensor to go along with it, and 2nd a fuel filter. Is it hard to put a fuel filter in yourself? Thanks for all your help guys.

Ok, I just replaced my fuel filter & map sensor. But I have yet to find my FITV & IACV. Can anyone post any pictures or illustrations please? If you have a digi cam and a spare second please take a pic.
Thanks guys.
