first time at the track...r these good times
well i was at e-town today for honda-tech day...pretty great turnout for the stupid rain that was there this morning...well i got there late so i couldnt run during the h-t races...but afterwords they had the saturday night open races...so i ran my car...i have a 1998 vsm civic 4 door ex(d16y8) with intake headers and exhaust...i was so nervous i was gonna **** up or embaress myself grinding a gear...well i got to the line, and went ***** out...i banged a 16.4 at 84 mph, and a 2.4 0-60 ft, .628 reaction time...im not to sure if its a good time or not, people said its something to be proud of since its a 4 door with full interior(damn thing is a boat)...any input...i know its nothing amazing at all... i just felt like posting to see what people thought
ps i was a virgin at the track...first time ever racing...1st run of the ngiht as well...i have the time slip sittin in my hand

Sounds pretty good to me, especially since it was your first time. Now get back out there and practice, practice, practice.

id say thats a damn good time for a first timer. also, taking into consideration that ur car is a 4-door.

Just so you know, since nobody has said it yet, R/T doesn't effect your 1/4 time. You could sit at the light for 20 seconds, then go and still run a 16.4.
Good times though, especially for your first track outing!

there were a lot of cars running slow, i saw some rsx run high 16's, some slow s2000's and then afterwards we saw a wrx sti run a 14.5
wow there was a sol that looked just like yours there, odd.
in anycase we shall be returning to etown next wed. maybe the 4dr will hit a flat 16
