not too bad. Better 60 foot is defently possible. Not sure what those tires can do, but 2.2 should get you to like 14.4s.

I can see you getting down to about 14.3 with more practice driving, but I doubt you'll go lower than that without gutting the car or buying parts.

why does everyone put on 500whp clutches on the cars that can't break 200whp?
I don't get it.
You are going to have fun driving with that clutch. Just buy a stage 1 exedy or ACT HDSS.
Besides when you are on stock axles and running nothing more then drag radials you will benefit from the street disk because you are going to be able to control the slippage way better on launching. You put that 6 puck clutch on and some drag radials you better hope that those drag radials will break loose otherwise you will break something else.

I don't understand it either. People go extremely overkill on the clutches. But hey, this is America, more is ALWAYS better
Get some drag radials, do a little weight reduction, practice, and you might be able to break into high 13's.

that's funny, I was just talking about that with a friend yesterday. stage one or two from any reputable company would be good. anything more than that is counter-productive until you start making >150% stock hp.

I concur..
My friend has a SPOON B18C in his EK hatch and he's running a 6 puck.. he says it's stupid to drive it on the street.. There's no slip, it just chatters REALLY bad.. I'm sure it's a little worse with 4.785:1 FD in the Spoon trans.. I have a GSR in my EJ that's making about 220 Hp (Est) and it's fine with a stage 1 Exedy..

was this your first time @ the track in this car or you first time @ the track PERIOD? Its a decent time for your first time, with a little room for improvement. My buddy with a 01 ITR ran 14.5 bone stock (he was really rapin' it though) so without the extra weight you should be able to run a 14.2-14.4 with a decent 60-ft. time of around 2.1-2.2 with a little practice. The 450s are Nitto's cheap economy tire made for long treadlife...not exactly the stickiest tire around. Throw on a couple NT555R's on the front wheels and practice your launch and you should run 13s easy.....

this clutch destroyed oem LSD with shitty tires, I don't think that's the price I would wonna pay. Haven't taken the tranny apart to inspect for damage but 1st gear double clutching ate it alive with that clutch. Exedy stage 1 is plenty to hold up to 300whp. If you need something heavier you are just making the life harder on yourself.

Re: (ABK)
i wouldnt blame it on the clutch maby ur tranny was on its way out.
maby a stage one can hold 300 hp but i dont think it would last long, esp slipping it cuz it has a organic disk

stage one will do just fine until he starts making significantly more power, even if he slips it at the track. It may not last that long on a 300 hp engine, but his is only 2/3 of that power.

Not bad at all man. It would be possible to hit a high 13 with that mph right now with a set of 20 inch slicks. You would need to knock down a 1.90 or better 60ft but it is possible. I have been 13.71 at 98mph flat so you could do it but traction will be your only issue.
With a 20 inch slick, you will be in 5th as well most likely BUT, it would be worth it to get that slip on a stock motor.

Re: (IHateJDM)
better off just spending the extra $50 and getting a clutch that will last(insteed of buying another one later for 350), what if he where to squaze i donno a 100 shot, or turbo? all im saying is its better to be safe than sorry, a little too much clutch is always better than not enough
