Default finishing mini swap, engine stutter after ecu swap

hey all, figured its about time to sign up and make some post. well i have a 98 civic EX that had a y7 swap when i bought it, unfortunatly the timing went out and long story short i ended up swapping the head to a y8, everything went well and doesnt leak or anything, however now about 3 months later im trying to finish the mini me by swapping out the y7 ecu (p2e) with a y8 (p2p) ecu as well as doing the 3 to 2 iacv fix. i swapped in the p2p and also replaced the old TB (with attached IACV) out with the 1 from a 98 EX. the problem im having is when attempting to accelerate it stutters/bogs out making almost like a popping sound (seems to me kinda like its running too rich) til i play with the clutch and get the rpms up itll slowly drive but with almost no power. the specs are y7 block/y8 head/ skunk 2 IM, ebay header/catback exhaust. i dont have the problem when i plug the p2e ecu back in and switch the a14 back to a12 except a rapid idle at like 1450-1550rpms which i believe would be from the orange wire being d/c. any help would b appreciated, thanks

sorry forgot to mention, the only codes iv thrown from the p2p is p1259 (vtec system malfuntion) and code p0450 which autozone doesnt have in there database but for toyota/mitsubishi it points at evap. i heard it can be from a knock sensor but i never had a code for one, was also wandering if vtec malfuntion can be a culprit for this. so far iv cleaned the crud outta the iacv and tb ( carb cleaner, rag and qtips and toothpikes) checked the timings (which are fine) checked/cleaned map sensor and took the cover and inspected the p2p ecu. been a little skeptical at adjusting the TPS and wanted to check here first before i do. also iv tried swapping the old y7 TB back on and covering the hole inside it...it seems to act better and does rev up with just a little stutter. doesnt seem to have any air/vacc leaks.

p0450? Purge system? Just for the hell of it I would make sure the purge valve is not leaking by and causing a rich condition. Pull the hose off behind the purge valve while the car is running and check for vacuum. If there is a vacuum then replace the valve and that may be your culprit. but i do recall something about that issue on certain year and model ecus in the hybrid section about that code. Might want to read that as well.

Cool thanms for the response, ill look into that section when i get off work. im not sure but the i think reason the code p0450 is there is because with the y7 harness didn have the connector for evap canister was not hooked up, i have the connecter for it and plan on running wire to the ecu and 1 to ground. will b doing that when my vtec pressuee senser arrives though gotta do same with it

Ran the wires. hooked up sensor. ran the same, checked tps (good) and changed TB gasket which helpit some, drove it to autozone n code codes again...1 for knock sensor which im thinkin of ordering 1 from ebay for $10 instead of $75 for it. also still had p0450 for evap emission
