I love it. That wiring and and fabrication work looks like it'd give me a fat headache. Nice work!

wow, ive done 3 integra dashes in eg's before, and ive never seen it done like you have, what i do is use the integra dash harness, and cut the plug off the civic and match up the wires. Havent had any problems doing it that way. Also for mounting, i cut the plastic on the dash where the cluster is and it will allow you to slide the teg dash onto the civic frame without having to make any brackets at all. Yes it still has the gap on the door frame, like yours. looks good Great idea on the door panels! never thought of it, i just cut the backside plastic out and re-fiberglass the backsides.

Im holing the integra support up to the civic support. The teg support is the one im holding (the big metal bar) and the civic one is the small think bar which connects from the floor board and goes up and over the top of the steering column (the red part sticking out of the firewall).

I was holding up to show the size difference.

Thats the smart way to do it...when you cut out the backside..do you cut the leather/whatever material and then remold the whole thing?

yep it definatly is a job, mine was a little easier, because i used the teg wire harness, but the one thing that still gets me, is that it took many time getting the wires behind the dash in the right places, also i went the route of cutting material off the dash to make it fit around the coulmn, the easiest way i found to get the gague cluster in was to put it in before the whole dash is fastened, that way you have a little play in it, and of course i still have to do something with my door panels

that airbag cover that you are getting from jdm__. com is it a regular cover, or the jdm, block off tray? i've been loking for the block off tray, but have had no luck finding it, give me a link if you can, thanks

definatly a good install though

heres mine

does this scare you?

oh man, that looks real nice. I wanna do that to my car...I am so bored with my EG dash...Anyone have a link that has all instructions, or atleast instructions for the tricky parts. I'm sure most of it is fairly straight forward, but what were some of the big problems you guys ran into and what did you do to fix them (wiring, AC/Heater controls, etc...)

seems like too much work, should have just bought the integra.
Personally, I like the integra Gauge cluster, so I just did that custom work to make that fit. Your door panels look like poop now, those will never look right. Good luck.

Nice job! I think it looks great!! Nice to see some ingenuity!! You know what would be cool. Put a spoon ITR cluster in there!! They're too expensive though in my opinion I can't believe people pay $750+ for a gauge cluster!

Bikeboy80: Its called the "airbag blockoff tray" you can get it from jdmhondaparts.com for $120. Here is a picture.. Its under "jdm OEM hondaparts, interior". Donno if they have them in stock...damn expensive though.

dniedacess: I got the dash for $300 off a 2000-2001 crashed ITR. The guy was parting it out...i bought all the under the dash stuff, a/c, fan, heater, wiring, mounts, and a bunch of other stuff for another $300.

CDM SIR: I just picked up a RED bumper from a guy here on honda-tech...so now my car all matchs again!! wweeeeee

mantic6t9: I have the wire tied off..and the switch in the glove box. When i need it i pull it out and use it...sounds like a pain? well it is. But im the only one driving my car so i dont need to adjust the mirrors much.

b16a ferio: i dont have anything..i didnt even write down the colors of the wires like i should have!! I didnt run into any big problems..just wiring that was a bitch really. Its not that hard..just takes time.
