Finally, my intro....56k ehhhh
I picked up this del sol in may for 1300, never seen snow, no rust just extra ricey, I will add more pics as I continue progress and would like to give a big thank you to everyone here in the tech forum, your help has made a lot of the work easier for me, I will get some interior pics this week as well, that was quite ricey too before.

Re: (Nbboy7)
keeping it simple, the front sides and rear will all be returned to stock. I took out the seats that were in it (cheap racing seats) and replaced them with a nice set of sol seats, I need to get a whole new interior, after I get some pics it will be clear as to why. I will be dropping in a B18B which is coming out of a friends car over winter and from there thats about it, basic things such as wheels and suspension will come next and a lip. I have enough paint left to paint the car one more time if needed because I don't feel like trying to match championship white if I decide to get new bumpers and what not

Re: (sintype)
thanks all, so far so good I guess. the kid who owned it before me was (as proven by the first pics) an idiot and didnt upkeep the car much. so I've spent a good amount of time working and getting it to run correctly, Im hoping it's all together this week so I can drive it for a few weeks then put it up for the winter and contiue to get it working towards the side of good

All I thought of when I read this thread was that sad commercial about donating money to save helpless animals. This was like that but for a riced-out honda. Props for rescuing the car from a life of ridicule and self-hatred.

I dislike the de-ricing process at this point, the gauges had a crazy overlay on them and the kid screwed up the speedo, they were wired with masking tape as well. the interior, well I will have pics up in a day or 2 hopefully with what it looks like now and what it looked like then, it still sits on ebay coilovers which house blown stock struts, the car has been painted somewhere in the realm of 5-7 times before I got it. It's cost me probably just as much if not more to take all this crazy **** out than it did the other kid to put it all on, BUT I got the car dirt cheap and if I were to sell right now I could break totally even. Next step is to just get it out of the body shop, I plan to drive it for a week or 2 and then it goes up for the winter months and while its away I will replace the interior and the suspension, come spring I will be swapping and painting my engine bay, then looking for a nice set of wheels, I would also love to do the S2000 gauge pod as well but thats a big maybe, for all that make the trip to carlisle PA for the import meet, I'll see ya there
