after going to the dealer and looking around for about 3 hours, i've decided.........im getting a Nissan 350Z.........im going to preorder it on saturday (unless anyone has any other better ideas on what car i should get) and stick with my car until FREAKIN AUGUST 2002!......well, it wont be that bad cuz ill know that in august im gonna get 275hp of beast.......DEAL WILL PAY ALL!

plus dealership will have a turbo option avaible soon after release! we asked the guy at the autoshow in chicago. factory installed turbo is tight

Why not look into a RX8 or S2000? I think both of those car will outperform the 350Z. But i got to admit, the 350Z is a nice looking car.

the rx8 and s2000 dont compete with 300 lbs of NA torque, true the car is a little on the fat side though.

I think the S2000 and the RX8 is priced very closely to the New Z car. Overall balance and the weight of the car is more important then torque. I can't see the 350Z being a better balanced or a lighter car compared to the S2K or the RX8.

Plus the RX8 has the convenience of 4 doors. But I personally wouldn't buy a car without driving it first. Take your time and don't make a decision you will regret.

I'd rather have a s2000, RSX-R, Evo7, WRX STi over that 350Z. One reason is that i can't see that car being something you could buy alot of aftermarket parts for.....maybe im dead wrong but imagine that car on the front of our favorite magazines (turbo, import tuner, scc, etc.) i can't see it but thats my .02...

yea i was also thinking about the RX8 too......but i kinda like the 350Z better.....the dealer said that if i dont like it, i can return it within 36 hours but they keep the deposit.....

Anyone know how much the 350Z weighs? Both the S2K and RX8 are about 2800lbs. Is the new Z any lighter than the old one?
