Default Ferio Rear-End Conversion?

Hello.

I've searched for about 1/2 hr. I can't find any topic concerning ferio rear conversions. I have a 96-98. I parked next to a 99-00 ferio and it looked like I could convert my rear end to the later years.

I'm guessing that I'll need a whole new trunk lid, complete with inner taillights, license plate garnish, outer taillights, and rear bumper. Can any ferio-lovers validate this or have experiences they'd like to share?

Reason is, a jeep nudge me from the rear and caused a minor collison with my car. Dayam people in a hurry to get their shopping done with. grrrrrrrr Also, I already have the front end done.

you would need new taillights, trunk lid, license plate garnish, quarter panels and rear bumper

you might've forgot to notice that the shape of the tails is completely different, like someone already said you'll need new quarter panels (or at least the ends).

i was thinking the same thing about the 96-98. I like the 99 tail lights better.

oh, and to add onto the confusion of a rear end conversion, you also need the tail light caps (pieces of body panels under the taillights)

The bodywork would cost almost as much as buying a whole 99-00 car.

Your damage would pretty much have to total out the car in order to get all those parts.

When my car got rear-ended, the grand total of the full rear end was $5411 and that was 3 years ago. That kind of $$$ vs. your car's value would be close to equal.
