Bigger wheels mean slower times on a track smaller mean faster times. This would apply to any car with a bigger rim size. Also depending on your weight of your rims verses the steelies is a factor as well. For example My buddy went to a set of 18 inch wheels and went racing. He wasnt doing as good on his times so he traded his 18s for 2 sets of rims. One set 16inch and one set 17s.I would say dont go any bigger then 16s for loss of speed and power.Looks or fuction which you want more of.Or go turbo that helps a little.

the bigger the rim the more rotational mass. Which basically means that a smaller rim/wheel will spin faster and take less power to do so, as appose toa bigger rim which spins slower, but covers more ground. which is why your suppose to match up your rim and tire size as close to stock as possible. also your speedo will be off a bit.
