THanks J!
I never have not run this y8 setup, during one point I was making 164 whp (w/ little driveablilty)...however, the numbers I should see with the recent Crower cam change, Hondata to the p30 and associated changes should net me about 150 whp and close to 120 ft/lb, high-mid 13 second quartermile times with tiny slicks.
My old y7 non-vtec ran mid 13's @ over 100 mph, but that was with a shot of juice and my sorry *** behind the wheel. I would like to note my car is not the lightest thing, and my 300 lbs is not helping the situation either, however, this car was built in its most recent guise to be a peppy street car built with 98% honda parts (read: CHEAP)

Re: (93 EJ1)
I hope to be one of those quick SOHC people this spring. Got my engine back yesterday, just waiting on a few more parts. JE pistons, Eagle rods, everything balanced, nitrided crank, Crane cam & gear, mildly ported/polished head and ARP hardware. I also finished putting together my Venom manifold, fuel rail, BBK 70mm throttle body, and RC injectors all together. All I need is the turbo, manifold and downpipe to get here.

Re: fastest sohc's (bOOsTiNSoHcVtEc)
hey guys I am not the quickest Dseries but I probably have one of the quicker Dseries on a completely stock long block. everything else has been done, JDM D15B, turbo'd w/14B @!10psi. with the AFC on all presets -40% all the way I am running way rich and am already into the 13's but high 13's got some more tweeking to do and get the Uberdata system working and I should be able to hit mid 13's no problem. I have 7K on the engine in the past 9-10weeks and everything is running smooth.
