Fast brake kit
Hello I have a few questions about the 92-95 civic 11inch rotor upgrade.
I recived the brackets and rotors in the mail.
I bought 1998 Integra gsr brake pads from tire rack.
I went to autozone and picked up brake calipers and caliper brackets.
All of these parts are for an integra gsr.
My problem is the fastbrakes adapter fits the caliper bracket, but the caliper and brake pads dont fit the bracket.
Do I need type r pads and calipers? The Gsr calipers I got are not much bigger than my stock civic caliper. I'm really confused. Any help would be great thanks.

Re: Fast brake kit
gsr brakes are 10.3" and type R is 11.3" it not the same, that seems like a lot of money spent you could have just picked up a gsr brake swap for like less then 200 all said and done, and a bit more for type R

Re: Fast brake kit
A) what model do you have, and does it have ABS?
B) what kit did you get? Is it for an EX with ABS or the smaller brake cars? The knuckles have different mounting.

Re: Fast brake kit
You would not only need the GS-R knuckles but also the Type R conversion for the Type R calipers. That's the only way you could get those rotors to work. I know cause I did the same thing. Except I used the Spoon calipers which is the same as the Type R calipers. Also the Fastbrakes rotors. This is what it should look like when you're done. Without the Spoon calipers ofcourse.
