Re: (pdiggitydogg)
Ok guys i got a '01 B18B LS in my EG coupe that had the D16z6 in it. My buddy took a EK main hose and it hooked up to his B18B pump and he is workin fine. Can anyone confirm that this works and that what he tells me should work.

First, the ek hose will not fit an integra pump - look at the pictures
Second, the ek hose will not fit the eg chassis, because of which direction the rack's port faces.
If this is all in your car, Id like to see pictures of it all

Re: FAQ: Retaining Power Steering in EK with B series Swap (blkgsr03)
So no integra pump will fit a b-series swap in an EK? The only option for the p/s pump will be to get an EM1 pump?

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
OK, I'm going to update this thread a little bit. There are a few things that are different, interchangeable, etc that are not mentioned or are said to not work but they do.
I just put power steering on my B18C (P72) in my 98 4 door. Here's what I ended up with and I'll explain the differences I noticed.
1. You can use an OBDII Integra GSR pump. Mine was off of a 99 and it has P72 right on it. It has the correct pressure outlet on it to bolt the factory D series line right up. So, yes, as mentioned earlier it definitely works.
2. Looks like you can also use a P30 upper PS bracket on a P72. IT appears the only difference between a P30 and P72 bracket is the small tapped hole that mounts the heat shield MAY be in a different spot. I think the P72 hole for the heat shield hangs lower to compensate for the higher deck heigh than the B16. the bracket itself bolts right up but if you want to use the little heat shield, you have to slot the holes and compromise or you can fab your own shield which is very easy.
3. It looks like you have to use VTEC upper PS bracket on VTEC engines and non VTEC bracket on non-VTEC engines.
So, in summary, OBDII Integra pump looks like it will work. Just make sure to check the pressure outlet before you buy one to make sure it looks the same. VTEC brackets can be interchanged, both upper and lower, with the only difference being the hole for where the heat shield mounts.

Actually, it seems just the obd2 gsr pump will work.
Jumping to all obd2 integras is what will get anyone into trouble....as it did me, and my 99 itr pump (also stamped P72)
This is the second time Ive heard this, about gsr

vtec heads have different spacing...i already said that

Quick question I know that the 1999-2000 Civic Si Power Steering Pump will fit the EK with a B-Series Swap, but are there any other ones beside the EM1 Pump that will fit the EK using the OEM OBD2 Power Steering Lines?

I just need clarification, this thread is freaking great!!
I have a 00 EX, swapped in a JDM GSR, I am going to use a 99 GSR (P72) bracket and pump....that will work....right?
Sorry, just seeing too many different codes, engines, letters/numbers thrown out that they keep confusing me lol
thanks!!

I need some clarification too, what I would like to do is make a list of chassis and engines and pumps that will work. But my question.
95 civic ex with a OBD1 B18C (GSR), so I can use a CRV bracket upper and any lower B series bracket with my D series pump and lines?

Re: (nahledge)
has anyone done this for 00 B16B into 00 Hatchback ? When I compared the pump and the pressure inlines between my hatchback and the one from CTR, it looks pretty much identical.

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
so for my obd0 b18a "CRV P3F Part number: 56997-P3F-000" with my civic ps pump on a 98 civic dx hatch????
I believe the older b18a is a pr4 head, and new b18b is a p75 right? But do the bolt locations for power steering remain the same? They should cuz that's based on deck height right?
