Sure wish I had an impact gun when I was swapping both my axles out 2 months ago. My back still hurts thinking about all that tugging and torquing on my home made breaker bar .

I saw this on that fourbanger website, who made it, you?
The guy who runs that site contacted me and told me that my write-up is now on his site too.
Just wanted to point out that I did the work and took the pictures.
Oh and it's not a do-it-yourself shop - I work at a shop that only does Hondas and Acuras, and I swapped the axle out on my lunchbreak on Friday afternoon.

Nice write up. It will help many people. I thought everyone removed the Speed Sensor to fill up the tranny. Good stuff.

Awesome tutorial, I get to do this myself as soon as warm weather hits... Were you drunk when you typed this?

Real mechanic will not remove VSS! That is just one more step to do (IMO).
Would you rather remove the 17mm bolt that has not-in-stock crush washer and be forced to reuse it? I mean a real mechanic would not reuse a crush washer, and if you are in a hurry and cannot wait for the crush washer to arrive then this method is #1.
Also would you rather remove a 10mm bolt that you can access standing up or try to plug up the fill hole as tranny fluid spills on your floor? I mean really your comment is straight up retarded.
"Real mechanics" try to do the job quickly and easily - what's quicker or easier about removing a hard-to-get-to 17mm bolt when the 10mm bolt holding the speed sensor in is so much quicker and easier to get to?
Keep it up guy and I'll just bitch slap you right back where you came from.

It's for the guy who cannot or will not afford to pay a "real mechanic" to do the job.
I'm running out of hammers for you.

Wow you are a pretty mean guy..
Anyway, You are the first idiot to invent "how to refill tranny fluid". Why not change/revise the steps in Helms. Or stop by Honda dealerships, Tell them what you just discovered.
One good reason why you shouldn't remove the VSS. If you accidentially drop a small item in the tranny. You are ****!!!!!! You know damn well when you are under the hood, **** will happen (**** i can't find the fucken nuts!!). Think about it.
Now remember.., Also follow the instructions.

See that's why I plug up the hole dipshit. Plus what am I going to drop in there? I mean really it's not like I'm dangling loose nuts and bolts over the tranny or anything. I remove the bolt and then set it aside cool guy.
Actually no I have no clue what you're talking about when you say "**** I can't find the fucken nuts y0!" or what ever you said.
See what's really funny is that your argument against me was something along the lines of me not being a real mechanic, but a REAL mechanic doesn't lose nuts and bolts dumbass.
Keep hating on me because I'm using more logical thought processes than you. I cannot wait to see your very cunning reply - I'll bet that you use broken English and the word "****" a lot.
