Default fan switch not working on obd0

is it located on the back of the block correct? with two prongs wires to it? what model and yr would i change for? Also, when my starter died on me and when turning the key the fan came on seems like all the power started the fan right up. So whos knows?Just switch the t-stat and no sign of fan turning. how can you check if the sensor is bad? I know know for sure that the fan turns because of my starter knowing that all the power went to the fan making it turn. Anyone please?
