fan speed help

I have a d16y8 98 civ ex what's the besr fan radiator combo? I have a lil 10" aftermarket fan installed right now but fan will not keep up with rpm cause car to overheat... help I had all electrical checked and thermostat. Replaced.

OEM. Put the stock fan back on. The shroud is what makes all the difference.

^I was going to say, what mods do you have that required the cooling system to be modified? Put it back to stock, if stock parts were non functioning, find oem replacement parts.

Really? Wow didn't think the shroud would matter lol so evwn like the aftermarket high dollar mushimoto fan rnt as good?

I had a 12 Mishi fan on the front of my H22 swapped EK, 2 row Mishi rad, too. No problems.

Shroud allows the fan to pull air through the entire core of the radiator. The 10" fan against the core is only cooling water within that diameter.
