Expanding FM frequency on Gathers GXC-7108SFW
Hey guys,
I've posted this in the audio sub-forum, but I'm interested in your input as well (considering I'm working with a 5th generation head unit).
I'm curious as to whether or not a JDM Gathers head unit has been converted to USDM frequencies without using a frequency expander (i.e., retrofitting the inner components of the JDM unit with that of a USDM unit so that it reads our frequencies).
Has it been done? Can it be done? All input and ideas are greatly appreciated!
