Default Exhaust with swap

im saving up for my swap that im hoping to get in july or the end of the summer. ive read alot of ppl doing swaps but never anyone talking about if they had to get another exhaust or they kept their sameone. do you have to get an aftermarket one. i have a 92 cx hatch. going with the SiRII B16.

Its pretty simple. Once the engine is in take a measurement of the gap between the flange on the exhaust manifold and your existing pipe (hopefully you have an aftermarket exhaust by this point).

Go to a local muffler shop (stay away from midas because they SUCK) and have them build a pipe to fit the new flange and bolt that puppy on.

The last engine we swapped the new pipe cost a whole 15.00 from Menike.

u can use your same exhaust and pipping, but u need to alter your flange.

When I put my GSR Motor in my hatch, I used the OEM Gsr exhaust and it bolted up and works fine. Even came from a foor door

yeah and it is only like 30-50 so don't even sweat it

thanx guys. so if i was to get a aftermarket exhaust i would still have to go to a shop to have another flange made. either way one has to be made to fit the B16, rite.

just get a muffler and take it to a muffler shop and get custom piping
