Default exhaust setup

sup ht im planning on doing an exhaust setup soon, and i plan on going with the apexi n1 catback, i have dc 4-1 headers and i plan on putting on a high flow cat, can anybody using this setup or similar to it let me know what kind of power they're getting out of a jdm b16?

im using an apex'i n1 on my 4door with a highflow cat and a set of headers, im also boosted, and im quite satisfied with the outcome, and im sure you would be too, they have a nice tone

go with an appropriately sized exhaust for your setup. if going n/a...go with 2.25-2.5 inch diameter piping catback. If going boosted, i'd say at a minimum...2.75 inches in diameter.

and if you want low tone....you need an exhaust with a larger muffler section.

BUT.....if you like that fart can sound like 90% of other people...go with that coffee-can muffler style. when i say coffee-can style...i mean any muffler that has a rough diameter of a coffee-can and is just about as short as one as well.

koo thanks fellahs, i plan on going na and the piping i just got is 2.25, taking it to the muffler shop soon hope its not too loud, i hear some n1's on the freeway and some of them are annoyingly loud hahah, good torque good hp?

Yeah, an N1 exhaust will be loud. The apexi N1 is loud, but a good nice loud... not a ricer loud. why dont you buy the catback?

As for power gains. It will be barely noticable really. I mean, its not going to be a head jurking difference... you'll be able to feel it at first, but you will get used to it quick. apexi N1's are nice though. good choice

thanks yea i just picked up the whole catback setup last night, for a total of 150, and i just put it on, VERRY NICE, love the sound, deep and not as loud as i thought it would be, thanks everybody for your input

lol i wish, i love the ws2, love the ws1 even more.
