Exhaust and Rear Bumper Advice
...well this morning as i was cruising into school some chick not paying attention decided to slam into the *** end of my car (2000 EX) and destroy my rear bumper and bend the **** out of my Greddy catback...im getting $1300 from insurance which isnt a bad deal, so i guess the purpose of this post is im wondering if you guys know where i could score a rear bumper cheap and im not gonna go back to my Greddy so i was looking into an RS-R Exmag, Buddy Club SPEC III&IV and other comparable stuff from Apexi, DC Sports, etc., and was just wondering if you guys can offer up any advice on the pro's and con's of them! Thanks guys!

Uhh... RS*R ExMag and APEXi WSII are the preffered quiet exhausts. APEXi WSII is about $100 cheaper than the RS*R. I have it on my car.
Had it on for about a month, sounds really nice and smooth through the whole RPM range. People who have the ExMag say the same thing.
BC Spec's/APEXi N1 are LOUD as hell, but provide better performance than the quieter exhausts. Haven't heard much about the DC Sports, I assume they're alright, same with the 5Zigen stuff.
As for rear bumper, try a junkyard and see if you can find one in decent shape (body wise) and just get it painted. Good luck with that one though.

You sure the only damage is to the bumper cover and exhaust? If it was a hard enough impact to smash your exhaust and bumper then i can almost guarantee there is more damage.
I was hit in the rear and the only damage seemed to be a little bit of paint flaking off on my bumper. It looked so minor i wasnt going to bother fixing it. Upon further inspection my frame was pushed in and the rear quarter panel folded/dented slightly and the rear bumper and quarter had to be repainted. I brought it to a body shop and after having the car on the frame machine, doing body work on the rear quarter and paint it for it all it came out to $2700. Insurance paid since i was hit in the rear and it wasnt my fault but just make sure theres no other damage.

Re: Exhaust and Rear Bumper Advice (teamvirus)
ya im sure thats all the damage, i took it to the shop and had them give me an estimate and they looked it over too and its just the rear bumper and the exhaust is just bent to ****. Any of you guys have any input on a Apex'i GT-Spec im sure its gonna be loud, but its prob gonna give me the best gains (well at least what i can get out of a D-series EK) but if you guys have any other input let me know, thanks again!
