i have a 95 civic cx hatch with a gsr block .i want to put on a oem exhaust 2inch piping axel back. mani presently is gsr cat is gsr and midpipe is gsr. my question is what oem axel back is either completely bolt on, or something that needs shortening and hangers added .what exhaust will work i have access to anything oem again i want to change hangers and extend shorten only no changing the bends and 2inch

Try the 92-95 Si axle back it should be 2" as far as what you have to mod I don't know

excellant thank you instructor im guessing your referring to sir definately 2 inch??? bosal list on everything but sir canadian only which is the only to include b16a

No I was referring to the US Si. even though it came with the shoc vtec I think it is 2" piping from the axle back

no si is just under 2 inch 1 7/8 sir i believe is gonna be my ticket but i cant get a id measurement for that

he is correct 1 7/8 is the size almost 2 inches and any axle back would fit most are only 2 1/4 or 2.5. The difference in the GSR headers and cat are the headers are shorter than the ls, rs, gs, si, and Type-R but the catalytic converter is longer making up the difference in length the axle back is identical on all civic hatchbacks 92-00 I could be wrong but im about 90% on this the only exception is the 96-00 DX that they have no CAT it was Built into the exhaust manifold.
