OK, heres the deal..

Thought i had a header gasket leak. Bought a gasket, took off the heat shield....
OH NO!!!!! Header is cracked!! So i have 2 questions..

1. How do i get that stupid wire cluster running into the manifold off?!?!??! (it's the only thing preventing me from removing the heat shield)

2. Is there a fairly cheap performance header for the d16z6???

you are talking about the O2 sensor that protrudes through the heat shield. Just go to autozone, and rent the O2 sensor removal tool for like $5. its just a fancy socket that has a slit on the side so the wire won't be in the way of the nut. Be abit careful removing it, I have heard they break alot. I removed mine just fine, kept the tool since it was only $5. The header is easy to remove after that. Think the nuts/bolt are 14mm.
