Default exhaust header changeover questions...

I've ordered Megan Racing Stainless Steel headers with hi-temp exhaust wrap and hose clamps..

Just wondering: Do I really need a special o2 removal tool to get the o2 sensor off from the exhaust system or does a wrench suffice? If so, how much of a risk does a person take when taking off the o2 sensor with a wrench (with rounding the edges or busting it)?

I have PB Blaster which I will use on the sensor and all the bolts the night before I do the install.. Could people that installed new headers on their car please give me your install times so I can get an idea of how much time it takes for the installation?

Thanks!

a 7/8 wrench should suffice for removing o2. as for install times usaully 30-45 mins as long everything goes smooth for ya. good luck

i have done it over and over with a wrench.... 02 sensors dont need to be in there that hard, just use the correct size wrench and be careful.

If it is new it will be easy. If it isn't new, use some PB blaster or WD40 ahead of time.
