Yes, I would get the ITR cat-back and have a muffler shop cut to fit perfectly.

I wouldn't get it, I think ITR is only like 2.25 inch piping. For your motor you'd want a 2.5 inch piping with a nice muffler.

2.5" is most likely too big for your application. Stick with 2.25 or 60mm.

2.25 is more for a SOHC or 1.6 motor.

the motor is stock well it has a cheapo CAI, and the exhaust that is on it now is like 2.5" and no cat and its loud as hell i don't think the cat will make it quiter will it??? i don't think that 2.25 is too small, it would probably work just fine.

How much would they have to cut just like a couple inches to make it shorter???

thanks for the replys guys

oh so thats how it works...so an h22 should have like 4 inch piping.

the cat may make it a little quieter, i just got my custom exhaust done and they couldn't do it without a cat...they tried to get me to buy a cat for $200 so i borrowed my friends. But anyway i gave them a r&d b-pipe that was 6 inches too short and told them to put a straight through 2.25" muffler and make it work...ended up costing me $250 which isn't bad at all for 2.25" all the way back. Sounds nice, its got a deep tone and best of all it looks pretty much all stock.

Most of the girls here on HT know a thing or two. They wouldn't hang around if they didn't. Nothing better than a girl who knows about cars and could drive standard too. I think that's one of my secret fantasies.

lol... 2 1/4" will suffice. You don't need anything bigger than that for a stock motor. Maybe with more flowing capacity a 2 1/2" would help, but that is not the case here.

What joo talkin bout shaughn?

First off, the ITR piping is off an ITR, and last time I checked, c5s are 1.8 liters that throw down about 40 more whp stock then b18bs do. Secondly, most aftermarket exhausts designed for mild NA setups have 2.25 in piping: APEXi WS, DC Sports, HKS Sport, Comptech Sport Tuned, etc.

Please make sure you have ur information straight before posting.

that would be perfect... thats what i wanted.... i had a straight 2.5" muffler shop job with a 14" glass pack, and a sebring tunning exhaust.... very quiet.... now i got rid of the sebring and got dual exhaust with magnaflow stock looking mufflers.... super duper quiet.... its all up to you... i kept the 2.5 piping, even at the split for the dual exhaust... doesnt feel different in any way.....

im actually looking to buy 2 sebring tunning exhaust but i dont know where to get them..... the first one was free....
