Why do you want dual pipes? The flow for turbo would be best straight through.

I like the dual look... I thought that it would be O.K because there is really nothing that is too restrictive... Is there? I dont know too much about exhaust work either so... Right now I bought the car with a can at the back and no cat.. And its kinda loud! LOL The car is at home and everytime I come home and drive it the cops are always after me! LOL Give me some advice on the exhaust tho..

Just for more info for all of you... I was gonna do all new exhaust from before the cat all the way back... Now I was wondering if I should put a cat back on or not... Should it be a high flow? Or a stock one? I dont really know... Also The size of piping.. And the can sizes inlet and outlets... Thanks

( dont mean to disappoint all you JDM fans) But I got a bumper to put one first.... But I have seen Duals and Heard duals and they actually sound pretty good. But Im not going to but a kit tho.... I want to buy the cans and have a shop custom make one... Anybody have any other ideas?

get a stock cat, aftermarket high flow cats suck, dont get and oe cat from some parts store either cause they also eat ****. go to honda a get a stock cat, unless u like the sound of rattling after your cat falls apart after a week. get a damn resonator to, damn i'm pissed now. wheres the punisher when you need him

I will be twice as loud with a CAT? Really?!?!? Even tho i dont have one now... just by puttin duals on it would be louder? As far as a CAT from Honda... Will that not make it super quiet? I want to be decently loud but sound good too.... What size piping should i go with?

alright if you wanna be loud run a test pipe then, i'd say 2.25" for the pipe is good for n/a. if you want loud exhaust get a straight through muffler design, no resonator, and a test pipe in place of your cat. but search. you'll find more info there. so many freakin poles on this crap

Oops, you also wanna sound good, huh, my setup in my sig sounds pretty good, and is reasonably loud in higher rpms. nice deep tone,

Loud.... I DO NOT want to be any louder then I am now... The can on the back is a straight thru design... I wouldnt mind being alittle quieter tho.. But right now my car is just crazy loud... Will the 2.25" be good for a future turbo tho?

for turbo 2.5 would be better, u dont want any back pressure for turbo. i mean the best thing you can do to quiet the car would be like a 22" resonator, and a chambered muffler design like the dyno max super turbo. oem cat will definately quite things down, but not stock quite with that size piping. resonators are good for getting rid of that raspy sound you hear a lot of civics have. if you don't need emissions n e more i wouldn't worry about the cat then. expensive as **** for oem, but worth it if you need it.

go buy a ws2 and you will have no worries, the best sounding exhaust i have heard for an n/a car. and for when you go turbo then just remove the resonator and catalytic converter if you want to.

ws2 look it up.

2 fart cannons or 4 fart cannons.
1. they dont have a purpose except mabye loose power, and look bad
2.they look like **** to about 95% of people, the reason people have dual exhaust is because they have headers(2) in other words they are designed for dual exhaust and should have it.......unless it is a single turbo v6, v8 and so on. Dual exhaust is basically anything that has headers and not a header

you said dyno max... I kinda wanted to get carbon fiber cans out the back.. so ill need to see if they make any.... 2.5 would be good for a turbo tho? The setup isnt gonna be too restrictive tho will it? And what do you suggest for a resonator? Is there a special place i should place it? Or really anywhere? I dont mind being loud but i also dont want to be crazy... like right now i am as loud as I would wanna be! LOL For a turbo will I need any specail mufflers or will any one work? Like I said i will need it to be good for NA for awhile untill i finish it with a turbo.. Like next winter I will do the engine work and then next winter get the turbo... So it will be awhile.. Any specail type of material tho? Like SS or aluminum?

A turbo is going to quiet your exhaust anyway, if you plan on going that route I wouldn't worry about how loud it is.

So.. Will the cans + the resonator keep it around where it is at or will it be louder still or will it be quieter? Thanks for all your help! Any thing special about the resonator?

you said you had a b18? maybe even a 3" for turbo. don't trust me on that though. for sure a cat will take out the raspiness of the exhaust. go on youtube and look at the wsII videos, c what you think. put the resonator whereever it will fit after the cat or test pipe of course. i would get stainless steel pipe, dont have to worry about rust that way. carbon fibre mufflers? do they make that? do you just want them to be black? don't get dual either, single will flow better, you only have one header like someone else said above.

So lets say i do run that design that i drew perfectly! LOL Would i want to take out any cat or resonator when i put on a turbo? The pipe to even out the sides.. I was just thinking something like 1.5" or 2" because thats just for equalizing the pressure... does that sound good? no actually carbon fiber. this is jsut an ebay one.. but i wouldnt buy from ebay.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...99086

you dont need to equalize the pressure you only have 4 cylinders and ur engine only has 1 header, x and h pipes are made to equalize the pressure on each side(bank) of the engine, i.e. a v-8 has 2 sides of 4 cylinders, 2 headers.

Well I dont know about yours... but my sol wasnt made for a turbo... i need to put some extra parts in i.e. pistons bearings so should I not put in a turbo too? Im still floating on the dual exhaust tho... I kinda like it...
