Ex throttle body on a Skunk2 IM
i have a y7 goin for the skunk2 IM and in need of a EX TB, but do i have to bore out the TB to match the IM. ALso about the runners, will the ports on the head match up if it was intended for a Y8 or Z6

ex, dx, lx.. all the intake manifolds are interchangeable so i dont see why not.. unless Skunks sez its ONLY for ex model.. and yeah.. since u have a y7, i dont see why u need a y8 tb? just re-use what u got.
i say save some $$ for a TB that matches the ports on that manifold...

So the Y7 tB is good enough, well i was goin to use the EX TB, i thought the Skunk2 manifold was a 62mm at the TB Inlet, so wouldn't you use the same port matched TB like a 62 or does it really matter

Use a Type-R TB...its a 62mm and is almost identical to the EX except the throttle cam is a little different, but pulls the same direction as the EX.
